Present Focus

 

During a school de-worming campaign in a primary School in Kanke Local Government, Plateau State, Nigeria.

  • To use promote multimedia Communication Services to empower the less-privileged
  • Sensitize women in all sectors of society to assume leadership positions.
  • Sensitize communities on the preservation of the natural environment and undertake tree-planting campaigns.
  • Develop and operate micro-credit programs for economic empowerment of the less privileged.
  • Carry out functional adult literacy campaigns and vocational training to meet the needs of women, youths and the less privileged.
  • Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate technology and local handicrafts to help raise the economic base of the poor and the less-privileged
  • Facilitate the provision of portable drinking water and sanitation
  • Health and massive de-worming campaigns for school children and communities, and HIV/AIDS awareness outreaches
  • Giving Out Albendazole to schoolchildren in Shiwer and members of the Jesus Revelation Assembly In Jos
  • Facilitate campaign and sensitization on volunteerism, humanitarian services and Missions.

  • Undertake research, study tours, consultancy services, counseling to the needy and the less privileged and advocacy.
  • Establish collaborative and networking relationship with local and international organizations with similar goals for information and resource exchange.

General Aims & Objectives

  • To bring about holistic (development) transformation and self-reliance within targeted communities.
  • To mobilize and provide logistics for development in areas of agriculture, functional primary health care, education/literacy and social services.
  • To equip the less privileged with relevant knowledge and practical skills that can change their attitude to ensure economic empowerment and community development
  • To carry out functional adult literacy campaigns, vocational training to meet the physical needs of destitute and abandoned children, youths and the under-privileged.
  • To undertake people-oriented developmental activities that would improve living conditions.
  • To facilitate and promote appropriate technology and local handicrafts that would help raise the economic base of the people.
  • To encourage cottage industrialization, micro-enterprises and commerce.
  • To educate families on primary and family health issues.
  • To help young people develop physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually and to promote nationalism, cooperation and peaceful co-existence.

  • To sensitize people and communities for self-development, and the respect for fellow human being and the natural environment.

  • To help share practical useable information about simple, proven ways to increase food supplies and to improve nutrition and health by means of the media--Radio, Television and the Print.
  • To facilitate information exchange on safe and sustainable agricultural practices which requires simple available inputs and implements to the communities.
  • To encourage entrepreneurship through feasibility studies, and extension consultancy services and promote research into small-scale businesses.
  • To link groups (rural/urban) and communities to specialized organizations and donor agencies to facilitate the implementation, and/or realization of set developmental programs and projects.
  • To carry out advocacy that would encourage National and International cultural understanding and tourism among communities and peoples.
